I am a personal trainer with a passion for health and fitness! With my degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University and regularly training for over 10 years, I am equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to offer my clients the services they need to achieve their goal. Whether it’s workouts specific to their goals, corrective exercises, nutrition information, motivation, or accountability, my clients get what they need to achieve their goals. My skills in communication, time management, and problem solving have allowed me to succeed as a freelance personal trainer for over half my career in this field. I am now looking to branch into the world of Physical Therapy to use the skills I have developed to offer better services to my community and to help others live their lives more comfortably. On top of my experience in the fitness industry, I also have retail and managerial experience. I work for a local business called Health Spot to sell supplements as a part time job where I’ve learned how effective even a small team can be. I was also a Footwear Sales Lead during my time at Dick’s Sporting Goods, which taught me the importance of sales and team building. I learned the importance of building a great team by helping employees with their on boarding experience during my time as a Recreation Services Supervisor at the Ball State Recreational Center. Since accidents and emergencies happen from time to time on campus (especially at the Rec Center), my time here also taught me the importance of adapting and being alert at work at all times These work experiences have given me the skills needed to be a team player in any environment I work in.
