I have currently been working in the transportation & logistics industry for the past 10 years. I started out in the transportation department at a small steel company by the name of American Metal Supply in Cincinnati OH. After that, I began employment with a bigger company in Cincinnati OH, Kloeckner Metals Corp. While with Kloeckner Metals I received extensive training in heavy haul & flatbed freight and gained a lot of experience in the traffic department as well. From there I shifted into the intermodal side of logistics and started working for Hafer Drayage in Cincinnati as a driver and learned a lot relating to the container industry while working for a great company. After deciding to pursue more growth and get out of the truck I was offered a position at a small 3PL company in Cincinnati OH and gained some valuable experience in operations & 3PL. I have had a great time and alot of learning opportunities along my professional journey so far and am currently looking forward to where my current position in international supply chains & logistics will lead, for as hectic as the industry can be at times, I cannot see myself doing anything else.
