Cody Grauel is a Welder/mechanic at Peabody Energy. Colleagues describe him as "Cody is one of the hardest working technicians I’ve had the pleasure to work with in my entire Air Force career. Very nearly second to his work ethic is his technical proficiency. Cody was the backbone of our engine shop for years and led from the front. He was integral to many accomplishments and has an outstanding track record. Cody was often the first person I went to for assistance interpreting technical data for time critical mission system repairs. His knowledge of proprietary technology has even been utilized to improve manufacturer technical guidance for aircraft maintenance use. Lastly, Cody’s integrity and leadership have set the example and reinforced positive culture in our organization for the new generation of technicians.
