I am passionate about helping people achieve their greatest potential through leadership. I believe that a person's direct supervisor has the most influence over whether that person succeeds in their role, and there are a few ways to achieve that influence. A good leader puts his/her employees above his/herself and strives for their success. I developed this passion through years of ministry. I spent a decade as a youth/collegiate pastor who helped guide and set young adults up with solid foundations for life. In ministry and as I entered the business sector, specifically financial services, I experienced an unsavory stye of leadership that was primarily concerned about the 9-5. Since I would argue that most people are not in a career that specifically fulfills their life passion, a boss who cares enough about them to help them succeed and find purpose in what they are doing outside of the company's bottom line can be the difference between promotions and firings.
