I am currently serving with the 2nd Infantry Division Public Affairs Office, preparing for my retirement while producing and editing a successful magazine, weekly radio show and social media accounts.15 years of Army Public Affairs experience in several varying fields, including- Copy writing/editing- Photography and Photo Editing on Adobe and other programs- Producing B-Roll and Video Editing- Advising commanders at Brigade/Division levels- Leading Soldiers from Pvt. 1st Class to Sgt.- Managing large PA efforts on Social Media and w/local leaders.Received 2 regional Keith L Ware awards, one for Installation Management Command - Pacific for a feature story, one as part of Best Army Publication at the Fort Hood Sentinel newspaper.I have experience with working as a liaison between Civilian and Military efforts, to include:- The Innovation Workshop at Vanderbilt University with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) in 2018-2019- The Japanese Consulate in Nashville, Tenn. and 3-101 for their annual cultural festival in 2017-2018- The Itaewon Business Association and United States Army Garrison - Yongsan in 2011- Kansas State University and the 1st Infantry Division sports teams for mutual Combatives training in 2009Current interests are seeking employment in the digital entertainment industry, either as a story writer/editor, a voice actor, a social media manager or other field.
