I grew up in Washington county went to school in Scottsburg and went to work directly after high school at Rumpke as a mechanic, I bounced around to a few different shops until I found INDOT. I have been working for INDOT for over 7 years and have learned a lot over that time. I have worked my way up from entry level HT-3 to leading the Madison sub district as the operations manager.Currently I work as a operations manager for INDOT where I have many duties including leadership to many employees over 3 separate locations, communication to and from those locations, as well as oversight and management for execution of work plans for each of those units, additionally I Inspect and review work being performed, during and upon completion, for compliance with standards and specifications.I truly enjoy what I do, especially the satisfaction I receive from the type of work we do as an agency, I believe what we do matters and makes a true difference in peoples lives.
