I help facilities execute predictive maintenance programs through implementation training and done-for-you reliability services. My story: Back in 2014, I had no idea what “predictive maintenance” or “reliability” or any fancy acronyms like PM, PdM, IR, UT, VI, or MCA meant. So I started learning. I completed a level-1 infrared certification course. Played around with an infrared imager.Learned broad overview and theory. Walked out with some knowledge though I never learned how to perform an inspection.That would change. I flew out on my first work trip for an electrical IR inspection. My industry mentor led and we successfully executed an electrical IR inspection. Learned the principles, tactics, and real-life implementation on-the-job. Fast forward, I’ve delivered predictive maintenance programs to companies all across the US as a leader of an electrical & reliability services company.We’ve implemented hundreds of PdM programs at companies like Amazon, Adidas, Del Monte, Graphic Packaging, Lippert, Masterbrand Cabinets, Trulite Glass and Aluminum, and across several industries.But leading a reliability services team wasn’t enough. I’ve always had an itch to start a business... just needed an opportunity. At industry conferences, I’d get asked, “How do you actually do an electrical IR inspection?” It stuck with me.Why didn’t these guys know how to “actually do” an inspection? It finally dawned on me, no one’s SHOWN them how, they’ve only been TOLD how. No one’s given them the over-the-shoulder walkthroughs that I had starting out. Training that always stuck with me was tactical, actionable, and based on real-life demonstrations vs overview and theory. That was my “ah-ha” moment.I was going to create a tactical training program that helped technicians take action. So I did.
