As an NPD Analyst in the Purchasing group, I assisted the NPD team with all procurement related functions. Various tasks and responsibilities: -Put together RFQ packages and send to suppliers. -Issued tooling purchase orders and track tooling progress up until completion to meet strict deadlines.-Minimized obsolete inventory when engines are phased out. -Made sure sample parts arrive on time for pre-production builds.-Engaged in Supplier Relationship Management on a daily basis to ensure all necessary project details are communicated with suppliers.

I worked as a Co-Op with the Purchasing team in the Engines division at Kohler Co. Some tasks and responsibilities I had were as follows:-Gathered required materials in order to send suppliers Request for Quotes. -Analyzed quotes and determined if pricing was favorable. -Contacted potential suppliers about potential business and prepared Non-Disclosure Agreements.-Used Expeditors to analyze international shipment efficiency.

I assisted the Demand Planning team with their implementation of new planning software during the Spring 2015 semester. I prepared training materials and assisted with data entry and data verification. I also was on the team which was leading the way for incorporating Integrated Business Planning (IBP) into everyday operations. I prepared presentations for the executive team and developed necessary documentation related to the IBP process. Projects:-Led a team that developed a new spreadsheet to track risks, assumptions and opportunities within the business. This allowed associates to track market patterns and trends while also making it easier to collaborate by eliminating the need to send updated spreadsheet files. -Was the owner of Briggs & Stratton's internal IBP Google Site. The site was created to provide clarity of the IBP process and become a public forum for people to express suggestions or questions. -Ran reports and performed admin functions within the Logility software.

I worked at Restor Sandburg during the Spring 2014 and Fall 2015 semesters. My job responsibilities were as follows:-Took inventory and placed orders as necessary. -Handled incoming shipments and made sure all ordered inventory was accounted for. -Assisted managers by assigning tasks to employees and handling customer service issues.

I worked with other underwriters to review and analyze commercial insurance policies. I gained experience evaluating a range of businesses and risks. Some projects and tasks I performed were as follows: -I assisted with building a Microsoft Excel tracker to help monitor the Commercial Department's performance including policy & premium retention ratios and loss ratios.-Completed renewal reviews to determine if policies were profitable.
