• Conduct daily meetings with maintenance and production staff to discuss any problems and work together for solutions• Implement machine improvement projects such as reverting machines back to OEM design, replacing repairable pneumatic cylinders with cheaper disposable ones, • Communicate with sales to develop product drawings per customer requests• Designed and constructed a chain test puller to help alleviate bottleneck in production• Converted machine part drawings to allow certain parts that were welded steel to be made out of cast iron, resulting in cheaper costs, shorter lead times, and longer life• Work with MRO purchaser to help set order points and quantities, order new tooling, consolidate existing tooling in tool crib• Coordinate with outside machining shops to ensure that parts are made to specification• Developed chain length measuring gauges that allow for a more consistent finished product
