My current job as a CNC Operator at ASCO Aerospace has taught me precision and on-time work production is the key to any successful business. Machining parts for airplanes has shown me that fractions of an inch can make a difference in parts being rejected or accepted. Working at a fast pace can be stressful but I’m confident in my quality of work in those situations. I have taken pride in the quality of product and fast paced work I am capable of. I run the last operation on parts before they are shipped out to the customer. So if I make a mistake on one part it results in thousands of dollars in product lost and dozens of machining time wasted. My supervisor has trust in my quality of work to perform this operation and I take a lot of pride in that. Mistakes have happened in my 5 years here and I immediately own up to my mistake if it is a fault of my own and learn from it moving forward. I do not know everything and I am not afraid to ask for help when needed. My time as a Machine Operator at P&M Industries gave me an appreciation for manual labor and I grew to like having a hands on job. This job taught me to read blueprints and adhere to exact measurements. Also learned to work an overhead crane to load multiple loads of product onto trucks for delivery. Working at Hibbett Sports as a Sales Associate was my first job after high school and some college. This job taught me the importance of friendliness and communication skills are vital to making a sale. I enjoyed working with the customers directly at this job
