As the LPO on the USS Ronal Reagan I was in charge of all aspects of Machinery Division for One Plant. I was able to train and qualify over 30 mechanics, lead casualty response for engine room problems and schedule/lead maintenance items for the FY2019 Maintenance Availability. During the availability my workers and I were able to complete over 80% of our 6 months of maintenance items in less than 4 weeks; due to hard work and meticulous scheduling. I was able to bring the plant from dead last in all aspects to being the front runner and the Gold standard for excellence in Reactor Department.
