Provided support and configuration for a wide variety of desktop and server hardware including Microsoft Exchange 2003 – 2010, Windows Server 2003- 2012, Blackberry Enterprise Server and others. Supported and implemented networking hardware including Cisco, Netgear and Watchguard. Team lead for a Service Desk team consisting of 10 people dealing with mainly server related issues. Clients I was personally responsible for included a specialized surgical unit at the University of Alberta Hospital and a large Municipality.

Provided support for workstations, Microsoft Exchange Active Directory, Blackberries and all other corporate IT systems.

Provided support and administration for all levels of IT infrastructure, including Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, Debian and Red Hat Servers. Documented, planned and oversaw the rollout of 2 new user operating systems. Regularly configured Dell Poweredge and Cisco switches and routers. Tested various new OS and software applications such as Windows Vista, Office 2007 and various Linux distributions for implementation feasibility.

Provided 1st & 2nd tier help desk service to Enbridge personnel throughout Canada and the United States, utilizing remote desktop when necessary. Created and Responded to Remedy 5 tickets as appropriate. Prepared technical documentation and training materials for use by Enbridge employees. Routinely provided support for Windows XP, MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes, Active Directory, PeopleSoft, as well as various custom applications.
