I assisted graduate students with the setting up of Data Sets for our in house program to teach computers to recognize and track objects such as faces in a large stadium crowd or identify a gun in a person's hand.I also assisted the Grad Students in whatever odd job they needed done (Ex: testing software compatibility, finding conflicts within the software package, etc).The code-base was a mishmash of Matlab and Java. Matlab was used for the heavy processing of the data and Java was used as the front-end support software to edit and create base data-sets for the machine to learn from.
