About Cody Scheer
In May 2022 I graduated with a Master's of science in Marriage & Family Therapy from CSU, Chico. Since I have consistently been working with individuals of all ages. Primarily focusing on youth & young adults with Depression, Anxiety, Anger issues, & PTSD. I have a holistic view of treating disorders and offer physical activity with therapy such as basketball, passing a football or soccerball, walking, swinging, and sand tray therapy. My model of therapy is ACT mixed with solution focused, positive psychology, and CBT. I am also trained in EMDR, Ego integration therapy, and Nutrition therapy. I tend to work from a role as coach with my clients.I currently work at The Growing Place in Chico
