I am looking to develop novel mechanical and electro-mechanical products. My experience working in the regulated medical device industry has given me valuable insight to the product development process and trained me to do engineering work with a high level of rigor.My experience includes that from both large and small companies where I've been called upon to contribute to just about every part of the business, including establishing a receiving/inspection department and the processes associated with it, writing SOP level quality documents to define working practices in the company, and managing projects for a small team with a budget close to $100,000. The knowledge derived from that experience augments my engineering skills and allows me a wide view of the company and how my work interacts with it.
