Cody is currently the Executive Managing Director for Stewart Legacy Group LLC, specializing in Family Office Real Estate.Full Bio:Cody began his professional career as a real estate consultant for Watson Advisors, where he was involved in analyzing the financial and market feasibility of various projects in Texas and Colorado with project scopes ranging from $1M to $60M in size.In 2010, Cody was employed by Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor. He became licensed by FINRA as a General Securities Rep(Series 7), a licensed Registered Investment Advisory Rep (Series 66), and is licensed with Texas Insurance. He used these skills to develop financial strategies to the meet the investment goals and aspirations of select families, businesses, and organizations. Cody was blessed to be selected for a team of advisors that managed over $300M in assets. In 2011, Cody became employed by Whataburger in the finance department where he was involved in the various executive level "holistic" reporting and analysis. Cody was quickly promoted to the real estate department where he was responsible for maintaining, and reporting, the approx. $85M annual budget to be invested in various real estate projects in 10 states. He also developed several custom real estate pro forma models and structures for other real estate investments that the company became involved via complex joint ventures, financing structuring, and Family Office long-term holdings.In 2014, Cody was again promoted to be within the Special Projects Program for the organization to work on other various finance projects for the company that included: 1) SME on designing and implementing a new Job Cost & Procurement System (JDE Enterprise), 2) SME on designing and implementing a new Real Estate Financial Modeling System (Argus/MRI "Cougar" Software). Furthermore, Cody was again promoted to work on the Whataburger executive team as lead on various Real Estate Acquisitions totalling over $200M in assets in 2 years. There he helped design and develop alternate real estate investment strategies, along with new Asset Management systems, to diversify the real estate portfolio for the business. In 2017, Cody founded Stewart Legacy Group LLC which is a specialized Real Estate Consulting and Development Company for Family Offices.
