Responsible for supporting Oxy Business Unit Asset Teams in Permian: providing ESP Designs, identifying applicable, technology, monitoring, surveillance, diagnostic and optimization support by identifying and understanding events, and working with the AT’s on corrective actions to correct, save and or optimize ESPs and improve their performance.· Create Value by utilizing ESP Surveillance processes, tools and best practices and assisting business units in their operation.· Review vendor designs and select most cost effective solution.· Working knowledge of ESP operating parameters, and ability to recommend changes to operating window to ensure ESP is operating optimally and within limits.· Part of the team and understand ongoing operations to enable optimal support· Identify, diagnose and communicate event based opportunities with business units.· Develop recommendations to improve ESP run life and assist asset teams in implementation.· Document events, incidents, changes and develop lessons learned and best practices for AT’s.· Collaborates with ESP vendors for better understanding and continuous improvement· Assist with specification and future operation· Ability to track, trend and demonstrate value of surveillance.
