Oversee the accounting department at CIG Logistics. This includes but is not limited to the monthly accounting close process, reviewing account reconciliations, preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, performing monthly analytics, working with CFO on monthly deliverables to management and ownership, assisting with review of company cash position, submitting gross receipts tax amounts to appliable states, working with various external audit and/or consulting firms, etc.

Oversee monthly general ledger close process including approval of consolidating and reconciling journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, employee expense reports, overall P&L review, updating of monthly GAAP financial statements and ad-hoc reporting requests for management.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (including footnote disclosures, where applicable), update monthly management reporting package, primary contact of external auditors for year-end audits and assist Corporate Controller with various management projects/requests.

Responsible for quarterly and annual internal reporting requirements related to XTO Energy legal entity including Federal and State income tax entries, commitment and contingencies data to be included in XOM's Form 10-K, complete monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement review and other ad-hoc projects.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual work papers for financial statement disclosures related to crude oil and natural gas derivatives, stock-based compensation, debt, earnings per share and commitments. Review and update XTO's quarter-end earnings releases and responsible for CRT and HGT (publicly traded Royalty Trusts) SEC filings.

Valuable audit engagement team member contributing to the planning and completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits and supervising interns and first year associates.
