-WG-8 Step 3-Plans, constructs, and repairs a wide range of custom woodworking projects in order to support various National Guard units.-Resolves complex construction problems and uses special bracing requirements for heavy items (automotive equipment, truck beds), sensitive equipment and items (hazardous materials), delicate and sensitive electronic equipment (calibration items), etc. Utilizes shop plans, blueprints, and item specifications to develop bracing points based on weight.-Plans and lays out work and materials in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and knowledge of custom wood items. Measures and selects proper materials and tools. Determines the type and extent of construction or repair necessary to modify and restore various projects.-Sets up and uses a variety of stationary power tools to make construction features such as joints and grooves, e.g., rabbetted edge lap joints; tongue and groove and doweled edge joints; end lap joints; dado and dado rabbet grooves and joints; and locked corners. Sets up, adjusts, and adapts hand and power tools and devices to measure, cut, fit, join, and install wooden parts.-Maintains and performs operator preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, to include lubrication of power tools, cord maintenance, and sharpening of saw blades.-Performs other duties as assigned

-Current Rank of E-05 (Sergeant)-Inspect and repair air conditioner electrical systems, air conditioner vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, fire extinguisher recharging systems and fire extinguishers/valves-Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electronic and power systems by using electronic test equipment such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. Using common hand tools, power tools, and applying knowledge of schematics to repair and bring electronic and mechanical systems back to proper standards of operation.-Ensure that Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services are efficiently completed in order to maintain proper operation of military systems and equipment-Perform scheduled maintenance and services on military equipment including but not limited to Generators, Heaters, A/C systems, Trailers, HMMWV’s, LMTV’s, JLTV’s, etc.-Bus Driver

-Proficiency working with all types of wood. Experience framing houses, interior and exterior trim work, siding, wooden stair sets, building porches and decks, cedar hand railings, screened porches, decking, cabinets, and wood furniture.-Experience operating hand and power tools commonly associated with woodworking such as hammers, Skil saws, hand saws, circular saws, drills, table saws, planers, miter saws, jigsaws, band saws, lathes, nail guns, air compressors, etc.-Have training and experience with electrical and electronic theory with residential electrical systems, possesses some knowledge, skill, and proficiency in the use of hand tools of the electronics trade, and proficiency reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.-Received some training in the plumbing, HVAC, grading, and stone masonry on the residential side of things.-40 hours a week-$20 hourly
