Numerical Control Programmer / Production Engineer / Robotics ProgrammerBoeing Jan 2015 - Jun 2016Seattle, WashingtonAdvanced Developmental Composites. My career at Boeing can be split into two portions, the first being “NC Programmer at Advanced Developmental Composites” and the second being “Robotics Programmer (NC) at Advanced Robotics Assembly project: FAUB building 40-27”The first half of my career here is where I had the opportunity to learn a vast amount about Composite manufacturing as well as refine the critical skills I had developed before coming to Boeing such as CATIA. I refined my knowledge on TruNest, Virtek lasers, AFP, advanced CATIA functionalities, CGTECH VCP / VCS and more. I was tasked to work on a project that was in a massive deficit. I was able to contribute to optimizing and repairing the erroneous project with a such a significant impact that I was promoted to FAUB building 40-27. At FAUB “Fuselage Automated Upright Build” I would continue on to build my skills in robotics, completing an accredited training program in Detroit, Michigan at Cenit Delmia. I went on to author several programs in FAUB before I had a three month interim without a project. I was extended an offer to contract out and exercise my skill set in industry, and I accepted soon after. My long term goal is to return to Boeing to work in the Everett “Composite Wing Center” for AFP. Some of the many skills I learned are...Composites:Hand layup (Gerber / AGFM beds & Virtek / LPT OLT Lasers)Automated Fiber Placement / Automated Tape LayingContoured Tape Laminating MachineCoBALT2 Advanced CATIA V5 / Fibersim / CATIA Composite work bench EnoviaConfiguration management Robotics:Kuka KR1000 Titan with Riveting end effectorKuka KR1000 Titan with Electroimpact AFP headCenit DelmiaVericut VCP, VCS, VCE -
