While working on my Bachelor’s of science in Biology, I had course work ranging from environmental science, physics, chemistry, and various upper level biology specific courses. I have gained valuable leadership skills from previous employment roles, being captain of collegiate cross country and track teams and years of coaching experience. Through lab work I have gained skills in multiple disciplines including becoming a KY DOW certified microbiology analyst, running multiple bench top wet chemistry parameters using meters & probes, spectrophotometers and titration. I have experience with multiple instruments including Seal AQ2 discrete analyzer, GC-FID, Flame & Furnace Atomic Absorption, and Ion Chromatography. I have experience with every aspect of data management including chain of custodies, keeping bench logs, data management systems (specifically LIMS), and state reports.
