Created ‘Multisport Master’ award, incentivizing athletes to participate in 5 or more races. Race entries increased 20% from 2022 to 2023 and over 10% across existing disciplines compared to when they were hosted separately.· Led grassroots initiatives via event licensing to grow the sport. Grew Splash & Dash Youth Swim-Run Series to over 70 events, a 40% increase from 2015 to 2023 and introduced a new Gravel Triathlon Series with 10 events.· Direct report for two full-time events coordinators, plus multiple interns. Elite Endeavors was an athletic event production company, specializing in triathlons, duathlons, and road races of 100-3000 participants. Most notably, Elite Endeavors was host to the Sylvania Triathlon, one of the oldest triathlons in the world. Elite Endeavors was sold to Run Toledo in 2016.• Directly assisting the race directors in all aspects of event coordination and logistics• Coordinate pre-race setup, race-day operations, and event load-out.• Designing and modifying transition areas to properly accommodate the venue and expected number of participants and spectators-Redesigned and streamlined the entire transition area in 2011 for the Sylvania Triathlon due to venue changes and event growth• Maintaining proper participant/spectator flow and operations in and around race areas and fields of play• Procure event equipment and prepare race packets, racer numbers, food, etc. for event days• Coordinate staffing, implement safety plans, and enforce USA Triathlon rules in the absence of race officials• Monitoring, preventing, and responding to participant, spectator, and venue safety concerns/issues• Providing excellent customer service and promoting the highest level of guest experience
