I was first elected to the Gawler Council in November 2018 and was re-elected for another four-year term in 2022. Meetings are held at night and don’t interfere with regular work hours.I am also involved in a range of sub-committees - I have been the chair of the Corporate and Community Services Committee since 2019, and have also been involved in the Youth Advisory Committee, Infrastructure and Environmental Services Committee, Audit Committee, CEO Performance Panel and Heritage Collection Committee. I also sit on the boards of the Gawler Community House and Gawler & District College as a Council representative.

For almost fifteen years now I have helped to run Zelda Universe (http://www.zeldauniverse.net), the world’s largest Legend of Zelda fan community which as a network reaches over 50,000 people per day.My roles include: - Reporting on news, writing featured articles, and interviewing developers. In 2014 I interviewed Zelda series director Eiji Aonuma.- Managing a large staff of over 50 people and keeping everything running smoothly.- Creating and running ZU’s various social media, such as our Facebook page, Twitter, and Youtube channel, which have over 500,000, 150,000 and 90,000 followers respectively, and managing our overall community.
