As an Associate I performed comprehensive payment reviews of Commercial contracts, Medicaid and Medicare fee schedules for several of the nation’s largest hospital systems. I leveraged advanced skills in analytical modeling and data mining in Access/Visual SQL platforms and Excel to identify and recover payment discrepancies for hospital systems. I also served as an internal knowledge specialist on Medicare payment practices and audit techniques. I analyzed large data sets to identify revenue cycle errors and recover unrealized revenue, then helped draft recommendations for hospital CFOs to capture that revenue independently going forward. During one engagement I developed an algorithm that identified over $25 Million in lost revenue across multiple clients.
