At Providence I provide direct end-user support for clinical information systems that facilitate clinicians in their clinical practice and clinical decision making. Analyzing technical difficulties and assisting in developing new methods for implementation and conflict prevention is my primary role. I work with many different groups, varying from the Clinical staff, Analyst Teams, Data Base Teams, and Project Managers. My role is imperative to ensure effective communication among the various support staff, and to ultimately assist with quality project management strategies for the embetterment of EMR workflow throughout Providence Alaska Medical Center.

While working at ScribeSTAT I focused on working with others to promote a smooth transition from and older EPIC EMR system, to the new EPIC 2010 model that now is going to be used throughout all of the Providence Hospitals. The task at hand was primarily composed of critical thinking and diagnostic development. It was a great opportunity to enrich my EPIC EMR knowledge from a very dynamic approach that infrequently lead to a repetitive task.
