Co-founded the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) and opened the Veteran/Military Center in Lindquist Hall on the main campus of Wichita State. Currently I am running a program to assist with the transition from military service into civilian academia. I am also working on developing a program that will place military veterans and Honor students into internship positions. Our hope is to help veterans gain vital experience in fields unrelated to their military occupations and further assist their transitions into successful civilian careers.

Praevius Group Inc. 02/2010 - 09/2012 Afghanistan, Israel, Picatinny Arsenal - New Jersey, Yuna – Arizona • Lead SME during initial development, testing, and assessment of Enhanced Mortar Targeting System (EMTAS) while operating in Afghanistan – 15 month evaluation • Trained approximately 150 Special Forces, Navy SEAL, and Marine Special Operations, (Raiders) on the tactical employment of the EMTAS weapon system • Collected maintenance logs on the ten prototypes, training records, mission data and testimonials from service personnel • One of three factory trained service technicians responsible for all troubleshooting, programming, and onsite repairs

Israel, WPPS II, Department of State• PSS (EMT), Agent in Charge, Lead Advance Agent for Diplomatic Protection Detail, U.S. Department of State, Israel. Protection provided to U.S. Embassy/ConsulateStaff, Presidential Envoys, Senators, Congressional Delegates, Secretary of State, andPresidential Advisors in Israel, to include the West Bank and Gaza.• Responsibilities include supervision of the Protection Detail, mission briefs, route planning, motorcade movement, operation, and the physical protection of the principal in a constantly changing tactical and sensitive political environment.• Additional experience: Assistant team leader, intelligence analysis, follow driver, detail member, and supervisor of an 18 fully armored operations fleet.

Iraq, WPPS II, Department of State• PSS (EMT), PSD team member, Fixed Site Supervisor of a private security force contracted to the US State Department in Basra, Iraq in order to secure the U.S. Consulate. • Responsibilities include supervising a 120 man Peruvian then later Ugandan security force for perimeter security and access control measures to Regional Embassy Office Basra, Iraq.

Operated a series of book binding equipment for the production of catalogs, quarterly, and promotional publications.

• Provided leadership to security team including prioritization of assignments, coaching, performance management and staffing decisions • Proactively ensured a safe work environment and adhered to SOC-SMG policies and procedures and maintained a 0 casualty safety record for 18-months of operations within Iraq.• Interacted with government/customer and company security employees in the development and implementation of security policies • Implemented NISPOM and ICD policy and procedures to safeguard all classified materials, documents, and equipment associated with US Government classified programs.
