I am a dedicated postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kentucky with a focus on gut mucosal immunology and translational research, aiming to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world application to help advance human health. With a PhD in Biology and Biomedical Sciences and over 8 years of experience in lab research, I have developed expertise in molecular biology, immunology, and gastrointestinal disease. My research has led to a solid record of publications and presentations at national conferences. I thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, and I am particularly excited about opportunities that allow me to innovate, lead, and contribute to impactful projects. I am passionate about mentoring emerging scientists, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and pursuing leadership roles that can drive meaningful change in human health. Beyond my research, I enjoy various activities that help keep me inspired. Music plays a big role in my life, whether it’s exploring new genres, playing instruments, or going to concerts. I’m also an avid gamer, enjoying both immersive single-player experiences and multiplayer games. I love trying new foods, and I am always on the lookout for unique dishes, and I love to explore new places and cities. I’m a big fan of science fiction movies and novels, which fuels my imagination and curiosity.
