In this new age of motorsports marketing, on-track performance is equally as important as business savvy and social media expertise – my name is Cody Janssen and I pride myself in my ability to do both. As an athlete: I’m a 4-time ATV Motocross National Champion. I was born into a racing family and have obsessed over motorsports for the entirety of my twenty-nine years. Growing up, my father was my hero and one hell of a racer – but about fifteen years ago, my racing began to take precedence over my father’s. It was a major shift for our family, but we went on to enjoy much success over the last decade and a half: 42 national event victories, 62 national moto wins, 4 National Championships (including back-to-back titles in 2019 & 2020), 16 Pro-Am podiums, 5 Pro-Am moto wins, 14 Pro Class top 10 finishes, 2014 AMA ATV Pro Rookie of the Year honors, a 6-race national event win streak (2013), the inaugural ATV Derby World Championship title (2015), too many state championships to count, and the list goes on – I simply hope my father is proud. Over the years I’ve become a fan favorite, but on track performance is only one piece of the puzzle. As a media member: I’m the creator and host of the #1 podcast in our sport, the Digging Deep ATVMX Podcast. It started strictly as an online radio show but Digging Deep quickly became one of the primary media sources within ATV racing. Week after week we welcome the biggest names in the sport to our show – past, present, and future. I am proud to say that we have continuously expanded in a major way to help grow the sport that we love! Last year we crowned our first annual Digging Deep Most Improved Pro and Rising Star award winners. This season we introduced the first-ever ATV fantasy league, Digging Deep ATVMX Fantasy, which has been a gigantic hit! Twenty-eight months into our existence, Digging Deep is so much bigger than I ever could’ve imagined. We’ve produced 62 episodes as of mid September, now averaging over 100,000 unique downloads per month in 75 total countries. We’ve more than doubled in size since September 2020 and our ROI rate is 100%. I am at the peak of my powers as one of the most influential individuals in all of ATV racing, thanks to Digging Deep. I’m one of the most followed athletes in my sport, which combined with all my avenues of influence, has given me the ability to showcase my sponsors unlike anyone else.
