I am a motivated computer science student who is currently seeking a Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on programming languages and formal methods.Before starting my Ph.D., I did undergraduate research in Dr. Dingwen Tao's High Performance Data Analytics and Computing Lab. I did this research as part of the Randall Research Scholars Program at the University of Alabama, an honors interdisciplinary undergraduate research program. From this research, I have published two first-author papers, and have significantly contributed to the SZ compressor project (https://szcompressor.org/). I have also interned at Google and at Argonne National Laboratory. My current interests include programming languages, formal methods, and parallel and distributed computing. Ultimately, I am looking to enter academic computer science.
