Description:A paid internship for Alexandria Industries, projects and work had a direct impact with the company. Projects were given push boundaries in order to gain experience and provide value for the intern and company. Worked full time during summer and winter college breaks.Note: I was not able to work during college semesters due to distance between Alexandria Industries and St Cloud State University. Description: The year long capstone class for St Cloud State University’s Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering program. The Senior design team was tasked with creating a solution for Alexandria Industries. The team created a proposal for Alexandria Industries containing 5 independent solutions with SolidWorks models and a bill of materials. Upon selection of a final design, the team would proceed to the creation of the project ,final report out and operator training. Role:- Team Lead- Electronics and Programming ExpertSuccesses: - Successfully handled all communication between the senior design team and Alexandria Industries. - Scheduled and lead all internal and external project meetings. - Organized and documented all meetings with meeting abstracts and minutes. - Managed the selection and purchasing of components. - Developed electrical schematics and PLC programs to IEC wiring and safety standards. - Invested 20-30 project hours per week while being a full-time student. Outcome:While the design of the project was finished, the project was not able to be completed due to COVID-19 complications. The project was handed off to Alexandria Industries for the company to complete as time allowed.

Description:Worked as an activities counselor for disabled teens and young adults. During the day, helped lead camp activities and managing camper moral. During the night, stayed with campers ensuring proper bedtimes, medication and overall health. Successes:- Reinforced group communication skills with physically and mentally disabledcampers- Lead or assisting in group activities (zip lining, rock climbing, tubing, swimming, fishing, archery, bonfires, basketball)- Developed immediate problem-solving skills from campers having escalated behaviors- Certified for lifeguard, first aid, escalation prevention, high ropes course, zip line, and Process Communication Model (PCM)

These responsibilities included cleaning, packaging product, customer service, and being the primary staff member for the meat department area and counter until close. Successes:- Worked with a team at the meat department counter, supplying customers with select goods. - Stocked, faced, and packaged packed goods to keep shelves full. - Replaced old or expiring goods to ensure that no bad products were sold. - answered general meat related questions to customers. - Cleaned and disinfected meat department room to health standards
