Resident GIS/Remote Sensing specialist for Viticulture, Chemistry and Enology Research at Gallo Winery. Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining geospatial datasets required for commercializing new technologies and management tools. Collected in-field plant physiology and proximal sensor measurements in tandem with aerial and satellite imagery overpasses to understand energy balance and develop irrigation tools that maximized water use efficiency in the vineyard. Led the annual curation of 12,000+ acres of yield maps by developing an automatic data calibration algorithm in my first season and a semi-automated python pipeline in my second season, which created decision support products for vineyard managers.

Completed event preparation through registration data collection and verification with Raiser’s Edge software. Managed projects for staff and designed promotional items. Acted as a liaison between students, alumni and the university, representing the institution at related events and making phone calls on behalf of the staff.

Led 6-person crew inventorying over 300,000 acres of Forest Service roads and trails in the Snowy Range of south central Wyoming. As the only GIS intern, I developed the field inventory forms, map index and created maps using aerial photographs of areas of the forest being inventoried. I trained the team in how to evaluate roads, read maps, navigate, drop GPS points and take pictures. It was essential for me to be able to effectively communicate technical GIS concepts concisely in non-technical language to communicate with my team and superiors. I wrote metadata and updated all of the field information in ArcMap to create a user friendly road analysis system where the user could click on a point of interest and view a photo of the road or hazard and the accompanying field form describing the condition of the road. I monitored productivity and constantly worked with the field crew to obtain the most accurate data and complete the project ahead of schedule. Along with working with the travel management data collection crew, I worked with the timber crew completing regeneration surveys and timber sale marking, and the fisheries crew to conduct electroshocking on District streams. I also assisted the archaeological crew with heritage surveys and completed mule deer migration mapping for the District Wildlife Biologist.

Student Researcher working on a multidisciplinary research team to explore the impacts of the invasive Asian Longhorned Beetle species in Central Massachusetts. The quantitative side of this research correlated tree canopy loss with land surface temperature increases that further exacerbated the urban heat island effect in Worcester, MA. The qualitative side of this research sought understand through interviews, surveys and focus groups how resident's sense of place changed when the neighborhoods were clear cut to prevent the spread of the beetle infestation. Was awarded High Honors for an associated undergraduate Honors Thesis on "Socio-Demographic Patterns of Tree Cover and Loss in Worcester, MA".

Worked with students, staff, and parents on all aspects of the housing process at Clark University. Answered questions, filed sensitive paperwork, ran errands, and managed projects for the office manager.

Served as a peer mentor to incoming ALANA (Asian, Latino, African American and Native American) first years in this pre-orientation program aimed at easing their transition into college life. Assisted with leadership and diversity training.

Tutored students for several intensive college courses for the program and assisted with both leadership and diversity training.

Worked as a personal intern to the company president and Co-founder. Worked at Fletcher Allen Healthcare cataloging all computers, printers, and copy machines owned by the state hospital. Was expected to handle project responsibility with limited instruction. Set up new worksites and offices, and kept software current on all computers in the main office. Was the youngest intern to be accepted, and was brought back for an additional period of time to reconcile errors of other employees.
