The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is the Anglican Church of Canada’s agency for sustainable development, relief, refugees, and global justice. With the support of Anglican parishes across Canada, PWRDF makes financial and human resources available to support partners’ initiatives and to promote knowledgeable actions of solidarity at home and around the world.Responsibilities Include: - Supporting PWRDF's efforts in strengthening their partnership with and engagement of youth throughout Canada in world relief and development endeavours. Key functions include network building and communication, education and action, promotion and advocacy. - Was Member of small PWRDF delegation visiting partner organization, the Organization for Eelam Refugee Rehabilitation (OfERR), in India and Sri Lanka (March 2012). The delegation was responsible for gathering information from the various populations which OfERR collaborated with, including refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and returnees. This was done through large facilitated group discussions and small group interviews. By gathering this information, PWRDF ensures it has an accurate understanding of the current successes and challenges that OfERR faces in order to effectively continue to support their capacity development.
