About Cody Peck

I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Engineering Mechanics: Astronautics Option. The degree is similar to mechanical engineering with an added focus in aeronautics, astronautics, and computational problem solving.My most recent engineering work experience is as a Student Engineer for Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center. As a Student Engineer, I assisted the Physics Department at UW-Madison with the design and construction of a barrel-shaped cylindrical structure (25 m dia. x 10 m) designed to detect subatomic neutrino particles with the use of highly specialized photosensors, which lined the structure. My job duties included structural analysis, part sourcing, part design and machining, and assembly.I also have experience in customer-service related fields as a former bartender and current Uber driver.
