This is a pediatric clinic focused on treating developmental disorders such as autism or sensory processing disorder through the use of occupational, speech/language, and physical therapy. They also make use of many different alternative methods of treatment such as yoga therapy, craniosacral therapy, applied kinesiology, and sound healing by integrating them into the traditional methods of therapy involved in treating these disorders.

Through an intern abroad summer course offered by Champlain College, I spent a month working in the only psychiatric hospital in The Gambia (In West Africa) as a medical assistant. My duties were to supervise general patient hygiene, assist in check ups by taking weight and orientation, medicine distribution and administration, and performing intake interview with new patients.
