National Air And Space Intelligence Center (Nasic)

• Executed the functions of Site ISSO for the Center's cybersecurity office, charged with providing guidance to mission ISSOs, and maintaining oversight of two classified enclaves supporting 3,000 users and 6,000+ devices, maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) in compliance with AF IC, and DoD directives.• Led the comprehensive self-assessment of the Body of Evidence (BoE) for two enclaves, including validation & quality control of network documentation, technical and non-technical security controls. Delegated tasks to members of the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) team of 7 personnel. • Served as A&A team final reviewer of BoE providing findings and recommendations to Site Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). • Functional lead for validating the security of new technologies and modernization efforts through the review of vulnerability scans and Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and vulnerability management controls• Identified inefficiencies within A&A program and developed Python programs to automate tedious tasks in support of enclave ATO efforts, streamlined BoE creation, saving 400+ hours of manual labor.
