Manager of a multidisciplinary team of 15 members, developing the capability to detect contraband in shipping containers, consisting of scientists, algorithm development engineers, embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and technicians. Responsible for discovery and exploitation of new radiation signatures for the non-intrusive inspection of fully loaded shipping containers. Development process required close work between scientists, computer scientists, and engineers. Critical member of the team taking the system through the proof of concept stage, through government testing, and onto full productization.
