The main topics of professional experience are: 1/ conceptual design; 2/ numerical simulation to predict the performance and to optimize the design; 3/ conduct of tests to verify the performance. The main issues in instrument development are: high (optical) accuracy and stability under harsh space environment, high acceleration loads during rocket launch, detectors working at cryogenic temperatures (50mK) with very restricted available cooling power (micro-W), small size and mass. For the development of optical and electronic instruments for space numerical simulation plays an important role. The analysis activities are performed in almost every phase of the project, such as the conceptual design phase at beginning of a project, seizing the design as well as final testing as to qualify to space standards.
