From a young age I have been exposed to business, as both my parents are entrepreneurs. This exposure has nurtured a passion for business within me and I aim to add value to the organisation that I work for on a daily basis. My Entrepreneurial roots have helped to shape my thoughts in such a way that I am always considering the strategic impact on the business of any decisions made. I am a qualified CA(SA) and a Registered Auditor. My formal training provides me with the necessary insight to drive process improvement and re-engineering to improve the efficiency of the areas under my responsibility. I also have a very strong control focus, which I regard as the foundation for any organisation to run a successful business.I am also passionate about developing people. I use available opportunities to mentor and guide my team in order to develop them into future leaders. I am also a South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Training officer, responsible for training future Chartered Accountants to become leaders in business and their communities.
