I have a passion for using experience in athletics, education, church, and cross-cultural missions to teach, lead, guide, and shepherd the next generation. I spent my first year as a special educator at a therapeutic day school, where I worked with high school students with challenging behavioral/emotional disorders. In 2021, I moved to Charleston, SC, and worked as an Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 resource teacher at the high school level. In 2022, I moved to Tennessee and found work as a high school inclusion teacher, supporting a variety of academic disciplines including Geometry, Algebra, Chemistry, and others. In 2023, while continuing my role as a special education teacher, I became a certified life coach and began Coffey Coaching, where I support and guide young men in the areas of academics, time management, postsecondary/career, relationships, and self-confidence. I've volunteered for nine years as a youth group leader at three different churches. I've joined mission teams to numerous countries, including Haiti, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, and Kenya. At Taylor University, I was a 2-time NAIA Scholar Athlete, 2-time Academic All-Conference, and All-Crossroads League basketball player.
