The project positioned marketing at the core of the business and implemented an improved marketing strategy that was customer orientated and that also improved the strategic approach of the company. The project was to grow key agencies across their portfolio using traditional and e-marketing techniques. I worked alongside the internal sales team as well as senior management to gain buy-in and implement my strategy. Highlights of the project being a 15% increase in turnover in 18 months, a 50% increase in turnover and profits in one agency in particular, over the same time, by integrating marketing communications. A strategic focus was embedded in the company which all future objectives can be set against. As part of my project I also carried out a workshop with 200 business students within Central College to highlight and promote the KTP as a career route and also highlighted KTP a possible collaboration scheme for other departments/schools within the College.
