With over 25 years of experience in various communication roles, I am a versatile and skilled storyteller who can craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences and platforms. I am passionate about using my voice and influence to raise awareness, inspire action, and create positive change in the communities I serve.Currently, I lead the external partnerships and community engagement strategy for UnityPoint Health, a multi-state health system that aims to improve health equity and address social determinants of health. In this role, I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders using data-driven approaches to improve the lives and health outcomes for those in the communities we serve. Additionally, I recently rejoined WHO 13, a local television station, as a storyteller who covers human interest and public affairs stories. I bring my expertise in crisis management, public relations, and corporate communications to both roles, as well as my experience in working with public, private, and non-profit organizations.
