Our team of friendly professionals removes your unwanted items and brings them to Remix Market so that they can be diverted from the landfill and find a new home.After nearly a decade in the junk removal business, The Junkluggers found that despite their best efforts, the donation centers receiving items were not always able to accept every item brought to them, due to being overstocked or due to some of the items being in less-than-perfect condition. Recognizing a need to house and rehome these items on their own Remix Market was born. Remix Market is a novel concept that is simultaneously a secondhand shop, donor, and professional fundraiser. By housing donations from Junkluggers customers in one facility, Remix Market is able to make these items available to the public through resale as well as available to nonprofits as a donation. By opening the facility to the public, Remix Market has been able to rehome articles of furniture, art, appliances, and home goods quickly by making basic necessities accessible to individuals at all income levels. For nonprofits, Remix Market generously donates basic necessities such as their office furniture, furniture for supportive housing, and inventory for nonprofit fundraising shops.By providing these articles to the public and nonprofits via Remix Market ,The Junkluggers is able to not only divert many more usable items from the landfill, but also continue the item’s life story in a meaningful way by making them accessible to individuals and organizations in need.

The Junkluggers is an eco-friendly furniture removal company located in New York City. Our company's mission is to keep as many items out of the landfill as possible by donating, reuse and recycling the "junk" collected. We are very serious about are mission of keeping our customers items out of the landfill that we've made a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to keep 100% of the items we removed out of the landfill by the end of 2025.
