Supporting a Lockheed Martin software program for a US government customer.

Working in the DoD Space Domain with active TS/SCI clearance since 2010. Our product is one of the primary Government owned systems used by DoD and other agencies for Space Domain Awareness, My program uses a variety of differing technologies to deliver this capability, and our focus is on delivering real capabilities to the operational community within the constraints of DoD networks. Our system currently has thousands of active users on SIPR, JWICS and coalition networks.The core ISSA system is implemented as an Enterprise Java application, running on clustered Wildfly Enterprise Application Servers. The various applications within the ISSA Enterprise system vary from legacy Java servlet applications to Micro service applications running as Spring Boot Applications to Kubernetes application deployments. I have developed , supported and enhanced all portions of this Java based architecture during 13 years on site with the customer at a DoD facility. ISSA exposes over 100 distinct Java applications for providing SDA (Space Domain Awareness) tools to users both in DoD as well as IC communities. These applications are made available via a Java based UI application as well as SOAP / REST services which interact with enterprise Java services.Since 2018, I have led management and development of a complex software system, implemented as various Spring Boot Java Applications, interacting via JMS messaging to process event data in real time and present results to users via a REST powered ExtJS web based interface. We implemented a classified build pipeline utilizing Jenkins build servers calling Maven based projects to build and deploy Java based RPM artifacts into a private Nexus artifact repository coupled with source controlled code deployment to streamline artifact generation and deployment via Puppet onto multiple DoD networks with zero interuption to the user experience.

Deployed to support WebTAS, a Java based intelligence analysis tool developed by Intelligent Software Solutions. This tool enabled temporal (time and location) based analysis of events sourced from multiple different structured data sources in order to support both intelligence analysis as well as operational planning. In this role I worked with various US and coalition forces in multiple locations throughout Afghanistan and Iraq for a total of 2 years. In this capacity, I provided training on the proper usage of the tool as well as systems engineering and software support and development of custom features for the tool in a deployed environment. We were able to develop in theater multiple custom Java based thick client applications for various users in order to support the generation of intelligence products.

Developed a CAD model transformer engine in C which converted CAD models from various legacy formats into ProE compliant CAD models.Developed a Java based e-commerce web application which allowed customers to find and identify parts through a 3D visualization of complex product and then process an order using a custom developed e-commerce and shipping engine which interface with USPS APIs to generate accurate shipping estimates. This system was deployed to Tomcat application servers and interfaced with MySQL databases for persistence.

Performed various tasks in the financial sector, from developing ACH processing software to functioning as project manager for a tax processing system for Federal government customers ( FedTax2). I worked as a developer on multiple projects, working in PHP, Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, Java as well as various UI related technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript.
