My name is Colby Oko, and I am attending Macewan University to get the chance to explore opportunities in commercial real estate. I have been working since I was 15, where I started working at universe machine. I worked at universe machine for 3 years where I worked a second part time job in retail at golf town. I’m currently working as a Server Assist at Earls in south common, as I have built up a great knowledge of customer service while working there. My best set of skills comes with dealing with people and how to communicate and work efficiently in a large group of people. I am also very punctual and try to stay as organized as possible. I am Co-Owner of a clothing brand called Summit Peak. Where I am the head of marketing and customer service. Most of my job deals with attracting followers to our social media platforms and attracting potential buyers. Summit Peak started out as a small project me and a friend created during the covid lockdown of March 2020. It has become a big part of my life and a source of income, as It has gained lots of attraction and is growing very quickly. My brand has led me to a better understanding of the business world and dealing with people in a better business environment. This is the reason I am enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce. Hoping to learn more than what I already know and to make Summit peak better. While also being able to peruse my interest in commercial real estate.
