I worked at Siemens as a Fabricator. My daily duties varied throughout my time here quite often. From the beginning of my time here I was trained to lay material out for the process in a swift but accurate manner. This included many hand tools as well as powered industrial equipment. Soon after, I switched to training other people the same process in great detail. after this I was in charge of preparing a fully cured blade for the next stage of production. this included extra PPE such as a protective suit and SCBA to avoid the dust. I crawled into the blades up to 28 meters, or roughly 92 feet. After this I moved on to placing raw materials such as fiberglass sheets in a precise pattern as described by the work instructions. I went from doing this to injecting an epoxy mix into the mold to complete the molding process. After my experience with this, I spent the rest of my time filling in wherever I was needed. I often times found myself the most knowledgeable of the group I was in where I was able to help others grow their skills. I spent some more time later learning other skills like 5S. I eventually was in charge of the monthly inspection of a different department where I would report my findings to the 5s manager and help with the process in this area.
