It's important for me to see the best in all people, because all people deserve to be seen through a lens of someone who truly believes in them. To me, service isn't duty, but a willingness to go above and beyond out of a true love for people. This is what drives me professionally, knowing that the people I serve are served with their best interests in mind above my own. I have three principles that I consistently hold myself accountable to:1. Empathy2. Loyalty3. PersistanceI have never quit anything without genuinely trying. With empathy, we grow together, and in turn help others grow as well. Using these principles, I have taught myself how to make music, and code websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. One day I would like to give back to the communities that helped me grow in these skills, and help others attain their goals as well.At Sheldon Park, I have been a Caregiver, Activities Assistant, and finally a manager, involved with training and coaching care staff. In between these titles, I have also helped, unofficially, in laundry, dining, and anywhere else I could lend a hand. I've trained, mentored, and lead, all without the title, and without any motives other than simply being the best I can be. I have experience with data entry using Electronic Health Record Systems (EHRS), having assisted my team in a complete transition from one system to another. Having a framework for solving problems helps, and most software can be understood through quick research and/or supplied documentation. I am currently looking for new opportunities that fit both my personality, and desire to continue helping others. My dream jobs would include: music producer, web developer, and/or something in Human Resources. Why not all 3? I like to dream big.
