Acute/Intermediate Care Cardiology Monitor, titrate, management of multiple medication PO and IV, Prepare and assist patients for different procedures and surgeries, monitor heart rhythms, care for patients with and manage LVADs and prostacyclin drips. As well as taken role of shift manager on a 28 bed unit, overseeing staff RNs and techs while providing assistance and interventions when needed, coordinating patients and staff ratios/assignments.

Cardio-thoracic/Peripheral Vascular Surgery PCUMonitor, titrate, management of mulitple medications (ie. TPN/Lipids, Amio, Insulin) management and observation of chest tubes, drains, wound vacs. Prepare and assist patients for CT and peripheral vascular surgeries (ie. CABG, Amputation, valve replacements, vascular stenting).

Intermediate Care /Telemetry Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions. Manage multiple cardiac medications IV and PO (ie. Cardizem, Amiodorone, Tikosyn). Monitor heart rhythms, obtain 12-lead EKGs and lab work. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members. Perform physical assessment and prepare or assist patients for procedures as well as post procedure care (ie. Cardiac Characterization, Pacemaker placement).
