Colby is entrepreneurial by nature and adept at leading sales and marketing initiatives. He has experience leading teams with efficiency and a sense of purpose. Colby is a young professional and recent college graduate with a background in sales, marketing communications and small business administration. For the 2022-2023 academic year Colby ventured north from Louisiana to do a one year professional marketing internship in Charlottesville, Virginia. He assisted in planning, registration, and marketing for a local gathering of young professionals called The HUB. He worked with the leadership team to launch the HUB’s social media accounts and provided leadership and direction. His sports card business has provided him the opportunity to build a network and establish a clientele with other professionals in the card-selling and trading industry.During his undergraduate career, Colby was part of Louisiana Boys State and was instrumental in leading more than 400 students in a Mock Government & Leadership Program. He attended Louisiana State University–Shreveport, and after graduation, he was selected for the Disney College Management Training Program. Upon completing this program, he took a leadership role with Volunteers of America where he advocated for marginalized individuals to receive care and services. Colby’s passion for innovation and sales enables him to view business and marketing strategy through a creative lens. He strives to engage and involve others through encouragement and optimism. Colby's passion for connecting with people and his keen sense of helping people to feel welcome and heard allow him the opportunity to view all sales and marketing efforts projects through the eyes of the customer. He is quick to laugh, handles every project with sincere optimism and dedication, and is constantly working through his desire to be in a Disney movie. You will often find him at the gym, on the basketball court, or making a podcast. When he’s not playing golf, football, or basketball, you can find him talking to strangers or drinking (great) coffee.
