Owner/Manager/CEO of Hammonds Land & Cattle. A lifelong farmer with deep roots in North Carolina. Passionate about agricultural development and consulting. My family and I reside on our central North Carolina family farm. We specialize in certified Irish Dexter beef cattle, Black Angus, and pasture-raised Berkshire pork, which we proudly offer at local farmers markets and directly to our community.Retiring in 2023 as a Colonel with over 33 years of military service. My journey includes assignments in Active-Duty Army units, US Army Reserves, and starting with the NC Army National Guard. My diverse roles ranged from operating Armor M1A1 tanks to piloting Blackhawks and Apache helicopters. I've served on deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, with my final assignment at the United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) at Fort Liberty, NC, as the G8 Director of the Accounting Support Center.Currently, the Den Leader for my son's Boy Scout of America Webelo den. I took off one uniform and put on another. Spending time with my kids is so worth it.In addition to my farming pursuits, I'm also the owner and operator of Hammonds Land & Cattle, Pasture Solution, and Pecan Realty.

We raised Black Angus under a Cow/Calf operation, with poultry, and lots of hay fields. Today, I live with my family in central North Carolina. We raised certified Irish Dexter cattle and lease bulls for breeding stock. We invite local Scout groups out to the farm a couple times each year to fish and experience the livestock.
