The Transportation Systems Analyst is tasked with a few standard tasks as well as many more that may be asked for as needed. The Primary role is to maintain routing optimization for the 25 Distribution Centers at O'Reilly Auto parts. Using our transportation specific software we are required to gather all data from the Distribution Centers regarding how their routes currently are run, gather product quantity for the stores, input planned store openings for the next 12 months and collaborate with the onsite transportation supervisors to execute a plan that will be accepted by upper management and the transportation team.The secondary responsibilities include ad-hoc reporting and report development to enhance routing and delivery compliance, assist in supporting and creating automated processes, and covering for night-time dispatch.

Located in the Springfield Underground storage complex we are between 60 and 100 feet underground and have up to 80,000 square feet worth of cold storage space available with truck and rail docks available. Our function is to serve as an overflow facility for all Kraft products produced at the Springfield Missouri plant.
